Supporting the American drive for air supremacy with its work refueling and oiling a whole manner of aircraft. In fact, it was a variant of a commonly-used 2 1/2ton truck that had its cargo bed replaced with a massive tank and pump mechanism, the side of the tank featured doors which allowed the crew access to pump the fuel. It was typically crewed by 2, featured 6-wheel drive which allowed it to tackle poor surfaces

_This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit of the U.S. 2 1/2ton fuel truck. _Length: 136mm, width: 52mm. _The model accurately captures the truck's large fuel tank and hard-top cab. _The tank-side doors can be assembled in closed or open position, and parts are also included to depict the hose reel, with vinyl tubing and enamel wire to recreate the hose itself. _Separate parts are included to recreate the tank-front pump. _Comes with 2 figures depicted in the act of refueling, and also features 2 marking options for USAF vehicles.
